MODEL PCM2002 SERIES
The model PCM2002 encoder is a programmable, modular, distributed data acquisition system. It is extremely flexible with many modules available today. A simple system can be configured as a single "stand alone" unit. A distributed system can be configured with a local controller data acquisition unit and up to 60 remote data acquisition units. The user configures the desired PCM system with modules attached to a controller or remote. The configured PCM system is single point programmable with windows based software. The user connects the computer COM port only to the controller to program all modules in the configured PCM system. The PCM2002 system is CAIS compatible. The pcm2002 PCM system is ideal for use on aircraft, missiles and other vehicles requiring miniature PCM encoders.
The PCM2002 is a commercial off the shelf data acquisition system that is constructed using interchangeable building modules that expands the system to meet your needs.
MODEL PCM2002/CON MODULE
The PCM2002/CON Module implements the PCM controller function. All available PCM2002 series modules can be attached to the PCM2002/CON Base Module to perform local data acquisition. The PCM2002/CON Module can perform data acquisition in a stand-alone format or in a distributed network with multiple remote modules.
MODEL PCM2002/RI MODULE
The PCM2002/RI Module implements the PCM remote function for distributed PCM configured systems. All available PCM2002 series modules can be attached to the PCM2002/RI Base Module to perform remote data acquisition.
MODEL PCM2002/AD MODULE
The A/D Module performs 12 bit A/D conversion at speeds up to 5 Mega bits per second. The PCM2002/AD module provides 2 programmable gain amplifiers and one programmable offset generator. The PCM2002/AD module can work with signals up to 20 volts peak to peak (± 10 volts).
MODEL PCM2002/SE64 MODULE
The 64 channel high level input module provides 64 channels of single ended analog multiplexing. The multiplexer can accept signals up to ± 10 volts with ± 30 volts overvoltage protection on each input. Output amplification provides gains from 1 to 4.
MODEL PCM2002/DI32 MODULE
The 32 differential high level channel module provides 32 differential high level channels for analog inputs. The multiplexer can accept signals up to ± 10 volts with ± 30 volts overvoltage protection on each input. Output amplification provides gains from 1 to 4.
MODEL PCM2002/BI96 MODULE
The 96 channel BI-Level input module provides 96 channels of single ended discrete multiplexing. The threshold of these inputs is TTL or CMOS. Each input is overvoltage protected to ± 75 volts.
MODEL PCM2002/ITIMB MODULE
The ITIMB Module provides IRIG B timing capability. The IRIG B electronics synchronizes with an external IRIG B input after the signal has been applied to the input for a maximum of 10 seconds. When the external signal is removed the unit will maintain IRIG Time consistent with the drift rate specifications of the internal oscillator. A reset time signal is available as an input.
MODEL PCM2002/SE16F6 MODULE
The SE16F6 Module performs the multiplexing of 16 high level single ended analog inputs and provides 16 anti-alaising 6 pole low pass filters on each input. Filter frequencies are available from 5 Hz to 20 kHz. The module can be ordered with standard fixed gains of 1 or 4. Overvoltage protection of ± 30 volts on each input is provided.
MODEL PCM2002/PMF-4 MODULE
The PMF-4 Module provides 4 Pre Modulation Filter outputs. The coding of each is programmable (NRZ-L, NRZ-M, NRZ-S, BIO-L, BIO-M, BIO-S, RNRZ-L.) The filter frequency cutoffs are fixed.
MODEL PCM2002/TC-JKET MODULE
The TC-JKET Module is a very accurate 8 channel Thermocouple Conditioner with Reference Junction Compensation, Amplifier and Multiplexer Compensation, and Real Time Linearization. Linearization can be turned on or off. Each channel has an analog low pass filtered. Offset and amplification is programmable on a per channel basis for zoom and sliding range. Compatible with types J, K, E, and or T. The Reference Junction Block is separate from the PCM2002/TC-JKET conditioner module for ease of thermocouple connect, disconnect and reference junction temperature isolation.
MODEL PCM2002/1553 MODULE
The MIL-STD-1553 Bus Monitor Module implements IRIG-106-96, chapter 4 and or chapter 8 100% MIL-STD-1553 bus data acquisition. The messages are stored in a FIFO buffer. One Dual Redundant input channel is provided with direct or transformer coupling. For chapter 8 100% MIL-STD-1553 bus data acquisition with up to 8 dual redundant 1553 channels, use multiple PCM2002/1553 Modules stacked with a PCM2002/1553-OUT Module.
MODEL PCM2002/1553-OUT MODULE
Provides PCM output and FIFO buffering for chapter 8 100% MIL-STD-1553 bus data acquisition. Use with one or multiple PCM2002/1553 Modules.
MODEL PCM2002/FLASH-NV MODULE
The FLASH-NV Module provides solid state recording for up to 5 Giga bytes of storage per module. Modules are stacked to increase recording time. Recorded data can be read back with the high-speed PCM2002/USB2-READ Module at up to 0.48 Giga bytes per second, or as serial PCM data (up to 5 Mega bit/sec) with clock, or as COM port data at 115.2 K Baud.
MODEL PCM2002/USB2-READ MODULE
The USB2-READ Module provides high speed read back for solid state recording. The module uses the new USB2 specification to read large amounts of solid state data quickly. The module reads at data rates up to 0.48 Giga bits per second. Use with PCM2002/FLASH-NV Modules.
MODEL PCM2002/BRG-VOL-2 MODULE
The BRG-VOL-2 Module provides 2 channels of bridge completion. Each channel has programmable gains from 1 to 2000. Each channel has programmable offset with 256 possibilities. Each channel has a programmable 6 pole low pass filter from 15 Hz to 3 kHz. Programmable Voltage Excitation is provided with current foldback limiting.
MODEL PCM2002/CUR-2 MODULE
The CUR-2 Module provides 2 channels. Each channel has programmable gains from 1 to 2000. Each channel has programmable offset with 256 possibilities. Each channel has a programmable 6 pole low pass filter from 15 Hz to 3 kHz. Programmable Current Excitation is provided.
